Villa Santoma Hill is a peaceful hilltop retreat, thoughtfully designed for guests seeking a blend of comfort, nature, and privacy. The villa includes:

Our story

The idea for Villa Santoma Hill was born from a simple desire:

to create a space where people can truly slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy peace and quiet.

We chose this quiet location because we understand the value of silence - the kind that lets you hear birdsong in the morning and crickets at night. At the same time, we wanted to stay close enough to the coast and historic towns, so our guests can explore local culture, cuisine, and beaches with ease.

Building this villa was a personal project, and we poured a lot of love into every corner. From the pool with a view to the herbs growing in the garden...

Our history

This land has been in our family for generations. For decades, it was a place of hard, honest work,  where our grandparents and parents tended vineyards, olive groves, and fertile fields with dedication and love. The same soil that sustained our family for so long now nurtures a new kind of experience: one of rest, peace, and simple beauty.

Today, we still grow some of the finest Istrian olives, grapes, seasonal fruits, and vegetables using traditional, sustainable methods passed down through the years.

And the best part? You don’t just get to admire the land, you can taste it. We invite you to try (and take home) our homemade extra virgin olive oil, wine, and other local treats, made right here, by our hands.

This villa isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a continuation of our story. A piece of our roots, transformed into a space we are proud to share with others. We hope you’ll feel the warmth, the history, and the heart that lives in every corner of Villa Santoma Hill.

Frequently asked questions

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 15:00 (3 PM) onward, and check-out is by 10:00 (10 AM). If you need different times, let us know in advance, we’ll do our best to accommodate.

 

Is there parking available?

Yes! The villa has private parking space for multiple vehicles - free of charge.

 

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, we offer free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the villa.

 

Is the pool private?

Absolutely. The swimming pool is private and exclusively for your use during your stay.

Can we try your wine and olive oil?

Yes! You are more than welcome to taste and purchase our homemade wine and extra virgin olive oil, both produced from the land surrounding the villa.

 

Where is the nearest shop or town?

The nearest grocery store, bakery, and café are just a short drive away (3 minutes). Bigger towns and the coast are reachable in 10–15 minutes by car.

 

How many people can the villa accommodate?

The villa comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests - with three bedrooms and a sofa bed. It’s ideal for couples, families, or small groups.
